Ingredients:
toasted pecans — 1 1/2 Cups
heavy cream — 1 Cup
sugar — 1 Cup
corn syrup — 1/2 Cup
vanilla extract — 1 teaspoon
butter — 2 Tbsp. spoon
salt — 1/4 tsp
thin strands of licorice — 140 Grams (cut into 2-inch pieces)
semi-sweet chocolate 170 Grams
milk chocolate — 120 Grams
dark chocolate — 1 Pinch

Description of preparation:


1. Prepare 2 baking sheet with wax paper, spray with nonstick spray. Put 30 hillocks of nuts at a distance of 2 cm from each other.

2. Cook sugar to caramel. Pour sugar into a saucepan, turning on medium heat. Add the corn syrup. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Then boil on a high heat for approximately 7 minutes before hardening.

3. Beat the butter and salt in a sugar caramel. Gradually and carefully pour cream and vanilla. Reduce the heat to medium and continue to simmer, stirring occasionally, until soft, thick about 5 minutes. Immediately remove from heat and let slightly cool.

4. Pour the caramel on walnut hill in the form of a spider’s abdomen. Then dip yarn in licorice and caramel to make the spider legs (6 legs on each spider). Don’t let the caramel completely harden until the completion of the art. From time to time, apply heat (if needed). Leave spiders to «harden» for 15 minutes.

5. Meanwhile, put chocolate in medium heat-resistant bowl. Fill the bowl with 1 inch water. Simmer on low heat, stir, you need to melt all the chocolate. Spread 1 tbsp of chocolate cream on each spider. Sprinkle with grated bitter chocolate. Then give our «insects» to cool down.
