Chakhokhbili of chickens

 

You will need:

Chicken drumstick 1000 g
Onion (100g) 4 PCs.
Port 100 ml
Tomato puree 400 g
Salt 1 tsp.
Ground black pepper 1 tsp.
Basil dried 1 tsp
The dried coriander (cilantro) 1 tsp.
Dried parsley 1 tsp.
Ground cinnamon ¼ tsp.

Chakhokhbili of chickens

Preparation:

Pieces of chicken you need to fry in a well heated pan without lid until Golden brown. If possible, frying pan, best fry without adding fat, if not, put just a little bit.
Onions clear and finely chop.
In the pan add chopped onion, tomato puree (cook yourself or use ready, the main thing — not to be confused puree with tomato paste), wine (Madeira, port), salt and pepper. If the sauce turns thick, add a little meat broth. To me that was not required.

Chicken with sauce cover and simmer on very low heat for about an hour.
A few minutes before end of cooking, gently stir the contents of pan and add herbs (fresh or dried).
